Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has vowed to eradicate Naxalism from the state by January 2026, marking a significant pledge after 10 Naxalites, including a key division commander, surrendered. At a public event in Balaghat, CM Yadav announced that Naxalites would either surrender or face elimination.
This surrender marks a crucial victory for the security forces. Addressing the media, Yadav emphasized the ongoing efforts to fight Naxalism, crediting Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah for their leadership. "Our three districts were severely Naxal-affected, but significant progress has been made," he said.
Madhya Pradesh's success in the battle against Naxalism is evident with recent achievements in freeing districts like Dindori and Mandla from such activities. CM Yadav expresses confidence in overcoming Naxalism completely by January 2026 with continued strategic efforts and governmental initiatives.
