China welcomed Russian President Vladimir Putin's visit to India, highlighting the role of the three nations as important players in the Global South. This trilateral relationship, viewed positively by China, is seen as pivotal for regional and global stability.

Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Guo Jiakun stated that maintaining strong ties among China, Russia, and India aligns with their interests and supports worldwide peace and prosperity. Putin's visit was closely observed in China, given the country's robust ties with Russia.
