In a significant announcement, Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy stated that December 9 will be celebrated annually as 'Telangana Thalli' inauguration day. This commemoration aligns with the birthday of Congress leader Sonia Gandhi, lauded for fulfilling the regional aspiration for statehood.
Reddy underscored the profound inspiration drawn from Sonia Gandhi and former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, noting their pivotal roles in realizing and guiding the vision for Telangana's formation.
