Ambati Rambabu, a leader from the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP), has leveled serious allegations against the ruling NDA coalition government in Andhra Pradesh. On Wednesday, Rambabu claimed that the government had been singularly focused on targeting former Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy over the past 18 months.

In a press conference, Rambabu accused the government of stifling the YSRCP's protests against the alleged privatization of government medical colleges. He further criticized Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan, alleging that Kalyan was entirely under Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu's influence and had become a 'political puppet.'

Adding to his claims, Rambabu accused Kalyan of betraying voters and allowing his party, Jana Sena, to be manipulated by the Telugu Desam Party. He highlighted the focus on distorting facts in the Parakamani case, instead of resolving central public issues. He defended Reddy's establishment of a secure asset facility and questioned Kalyan's silence on past controversies.
