Arunachal Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein has made a fervent appeal to first-time voters in the state, urging them to cast their votes without fear and skepticism in the forthcoming panchayat and municipal elections. Addressing concerns about misinformation, he emphasized the importance of maintaining social harmony.

During a dialogue with first-time voters from Lekang, Mein highlighted the significant role of youth in shaping the future and reiterated the state government's commitment to creating opportunities for them. He pointed out youth-centric initiatives and declared 2024-25 as the 'year of youths'.

Mein further advised young voters to respect elders and cherish good inter-community relations, stressing the importance of shared history and peaceful coexistence. While recognizing the empowering role of digital platforms, he cautioned against misinformation, urging the youth to seek guidance from elders. With municipal and panchayat elections scheduled for December 15, political parties are ramping up efforts to engage young voters.
