John Coale, the U.S. special envoy for Belarus, engaged in discussions with the authoritarian leader Alexander Lukashenko in the Belarusian capital, Minsk, at the weekend. The talks were described as 'very productive' by Coale, according to Belarus' state news agency, Belta.
