Maharashtra's Deputy Chief Minister, Eknath Shinde, has declared that his party Shiv Sena, in collaboration with its allies, will overpower opponents and hoist the saffron flag over municipal corporations following civic elections.
Addressing party leaders in Thane, Shinde credited the Shiv Sena's enduring bow and arrow symbol and Balasaheb Thackeray's ideology as foundational to Maharashtra's development. He reminisced about the 2022 rebellion against Uddhav Thackeray, which eventually made him chief minister, asserting the government was formed by the people's mandate.
He emphasized that their power is intended for public benefit, celebrating the Mahayuti government's initiatives like 'Ladki Bahin' and infrastructure projects. Shinde urged party members to engage actively in grassroots work, reinforcing the party's growth through public service rather than political ambition, underscoring Anand Dighe's influence and Ba Thackeray's irreplaceable legacy.
