Congress MP Pramod Tiwari has voiced stern criticism against both the central and Delhi governments due to worsening air pollution, stating that residents of the capital are "trapped in a gas chamber." Highlighting the difficulties faced by the populace, Tiwari questioned the effectiveness of measures taken over the past 11 years.

In response, BJP MP Kamaljeet Sehrawat acknowledged Delhi's pollution concerns and emphasized the necessity for scientific solutions. Sehrawat pointed out that the BJP recently came to power in Delhi and initiated actions like water sprinklers, but stressed the need for a more strategic, scientifically-informed approach.

Addressing the ongoing issue, Delhi Minister Parvesh Sahib Singh Verma accused the prior government led by the AAP of years of neglect resulting in compounded civic problems. Verma cited a backlog in urban management tasks that have contributed to pollution, calling for comprehensive initiatives in infrastructure and environmental policy.
