Karnataka's political scene is heating up as state BJP President B Y Vijayendra has accused the Congress government of rampant corruption. He claims that the administration is funneling money to the party high command through unethical means to maintain power.
Deputy Chief Minister D K Shivakumar fired back, branding Vijayendra the 'king of collection' and alleging that he has tarnished his own father, former CM B S Yediyurappa's reputation. Shivakumar challenged Vijayendra to back his claims in the legislative assembly.
Amid these corruption allegations, another issue emerged involving alleged illegal land acquisition by Revenue Minister Krishna Byre Gowda. BJP plans to raise this matter in the legislative session as debates continue over the state's governance and transparency.
