Mayawati's Stand: BSP to Go Solo in 2027 Elections

BSP president Mayawati has declared that her party will contest future elections, including the 2027 Uttar Pradesh Assembly, independently without alliances. During her 70th birthday announcement, she criticized other parties, expressed concerns over EVMs, and reaffirmed commitment to Dalit rights and infrastructures initiated during BSP's tenure.

In a significant political announcement, BSP president Mayawati has declared that her party will independently contest upcoming elections nationwide, including the 2027 Uttar Pradesh Assembly polls.

Speaking in Lucknow on her 70th birthday, she criticized BJP, Congress, and caste-based parties, accusing them of election manipulation and historical neglect of Dalit icons.

She reiterated her commitment to Dalit rights and highlighted infrastructural projects initiated under her leadership, expressing hopes of forming a majority government once more.
