Samajwadi Party leader Akhilesh Yadav on Thursday criticized the BJP, asserting that the party becomes more communal when politically cornered. Speaking at the SP headquarters in Lucknow, Yadav accused BJP leaders of relying on baseless allegations against his party.
Yadav condemned the BJP's governance in Uttar Pradesh as a failure, claiming that the administration has led to extensive corruption and a breakdown of health services. He highlighted the struggles of farmers, youth, and women under BJP rule and labeled the party as capitalist, favoring large industrialists.
Promising a return to development-focused politics, Yadav rallied his party members to concentrate on voter registration and counteract the BJP's alleged dishonest tactics. He assured welfare measures for various communities if the Samajwadi Party regains power in 2027.
