K Kavitha, the daughter of former Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, is reportedly negotiating with election strategist Prashant Kishor to incorporate his expertise in launching her new political faction, sources from Telangana Jagruthi disclosed on Monday.
As the president of the cultural organization Telangana Jagruthi, Kavitha met with Kishor during his recent five-day visit to Hyderabad. They discussed the potential establishment of her political party and its positioning within Telangana's political landscape, sources mentioned.
Suspended from the BRS in September 2025 for criticizing her cousin leaders over the Kaleshwaram irrigation project, former MP Kavitha has since focused on public issues through Telangana Jagruthi. She remains critical of the BRS and Congress for alleged corruption and is determined to contest the next assembly elections in the state.
