Hemant Soren Accuses Centre of Deliberate Neglect of Jharkhand

Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren criticized the central government for neglecting the state, claiming it has been marginalized deliberately. Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren on Wednesday accused the central government of repeatedly neglecting the state, claiming it suffers from a planned marginalization. He voiced his grievances while addressing the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha's 54th foundation day event in Dhanbad.

During his address, Soren pointed out that Jharkhand was intentionally kept poor while resources were diverted, leaving it as a source of labor for other states. He lamented the state's potential, blessed with rich resources, being squandered due to poor policymaking.

Soren highlighted the plight of tribal people, particularly those working in tea gardens, who have historically been denied due rights. He intends to seek intervention from the Prime Minister to help improve their living conditions and called for tribal unity nationwide.
