Ahead of Holi, Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav has stressed the growing alliance with the Bahujan Samaj Party, describing it as a move to reinforce social unity and political cooperation.
During the event called 'PDA Holi Milan,' Yadav stated that over 15,000 members from various parties joined the SP, which would bolster the PDA's prospects. Notable figures like former minister Naseeruddin Siddiqui and former MLA Rajkumar Pal from Apna Dal marked their presence at the event.
Yadav also took a swipe at Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath regarding a controversy involving a revered Shankaracharya, underlining the need for religious decorum and adherence to the rule of law during such events.
