UDF Poised for Victory in Kerala Assembly Polls, Says Venugopal

K C Venugopal anticipates a strong performance for the UDF in Kerala's Assembly elections, predicting they will secure over 100 seats. The UDF is finalizing its candidates as the Satheesan-led 'Puduyuga Yatra' gains momentum, reflecting public discontent with the LDF government.

Senior Congress leader and AICC general secretary K C Venugopal expressed confidence in the upcoming Kerala Assembly polls, asserting that the UDF is set to win over 100 of the 140 seats.

Speaking to reporters, Venugopal noted the momentum gained from the 'Puduyuga Yatra', led by Satheesan, which has crisscrossed the state, energizing the electorate with promises of change.

This optimism, he said, is fueled by widespread dissatisfaction with the ruling LDF government under Pinarayi Vijayan. With parties racing to finalize candidate lists, the political climate in Kerala is heating up as election dates approach.
