This sentiment is echoed by three Congress MPs—Mohammad Jawed, Kodikunnil Suresh, and Mallu Ravi—who accused Birla of partisan behavior and unwarranted actions against women MPs from the opposition.

The All India Trinamool Congress has thrown its weight behind the motion, as directed by party chairperson Mamata Banerjee. Meanwhile, BJP and Congress have both issued a 'three-line whip' instructing their MPs to attend the house amid the escalating tensions over this contentious issue.
