The region, represented by Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan for a decade, reportedly struggles with basic infrastructure issues.

Chandrashekhar's claims during a massive 'mega adalat' meeting mark a public dissatisfaction wave with the current governance. Alleging neglect and unfulfilled promises from the Chief Minister, he emphasized the growing local demand for political change.

During another address, the BJP leader outlined his vision of development as a fundamental right. Expressing interest in contesting from Nemom, he assured that under BJP, there would be comprehensive development and a corruption-free administration across Kerala.
