TVK Chief Vijay Unveils Empowerment Promises for Women

In a significant political announcement, TVK Chief Vijay on Saturday outlined several promises targeting women empowerment, contingent on his party's success in the forthcoming state assembly elections.
Among Vijay's key proposals are a monthly financial aid of Rs 2,500 for women, barring government employees, and a unique wedding package featuring a sovereign gold and silk saree for young brides. Moreover, he promised to provide six LPG cylinders free annually for each family under the 'Annapurani Super Six Scheme'.
Notably, Vijay's commitments extend to education, with a Rs 15,000 annual support under the 'Kamarajar Kalvi Uruthi Thittam' aimed at ensuring zero school dropouts by providing financial assistance to mothers or guardians.
