Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu accused the former YSRCP government of corruption and scandals, including a notorious liquor scam and adulteration of Tirupati laddu ghee. Speaking at a public meeting in Nandyal district, Naidu criticized his predecessors for prioritizing illicit profits over public health.

The chief minister also launched an initiative to issue new, tamper-proof land passbooks embedded with advanced security features, countering what he claims were erroneous documents issued by the YSRCP. Naidu highlighted his administration's efforts to address perceived land irregularities and corruption, casting himself as a crusader for transparency.

Naidu further promised economic transformation in Rayalaseema, announcing a 50% subsidy for mango covers, which have reportedly spiked prices internationally. Additionally, he vowed not to hike power charges, correcting what he terms as financial burdens imposed by the previous regime. He tasked officials to enhance agricultural profitability and groundwater levels.
