YS Jagan Mohan Reddy Accuses TDP Amidst Drug Case Controversy

YSRCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has launched a scathing attack on the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) following the drug-related apprehension of its parliamentarian, P Mahesh Kumar. Reddy pointed to a recent police raid on a farmhouse owned by former BRS MLA Rohit Reddy near Hyderabad as evidence.

Addressing YSRCP members in Tadepalli, Reddy questioned the credibility of the TDP-led government, highlighting a wider concern for governance and public safety, particularly the safety of women. He accused the ruling coalition of superficial solutions and corrupt practices.

Despite fiscal constraints and the pandemic, Reddy asserted his administration's commitment to welfare programs and alleged that TDP's financial mismanagement led to declining state revenues and corruption in Amaravati's development. The TDP has yet to respond to these allegations.
