The ruling DMK has finalized its electoral strategy by granting five seats to its ally, the Communist Party of India (CPI), for the impending Tamil Nadu Assembly elections.
The decision emerged after extensive rounds of negotiations between the two parties, culminating at the DMK headquarters, Anna Arivalayam.
This marks a strategic alignment for the elections scheduled for April 23, where last year, CPI contested in six constituencies.
