The Democratic Social Justice Party (DSJP) has announced its unconditional backing of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) for the forthcoming Kerala Assembly elections. The DSJP, which highlights itself as a secular entity prioritizing the interests of forward communities, criticized the state's Left and Right fronts for neglecting these communities despite their significant presence, such as the Christian population.

KSR Menon, president of DSJP, pointed out the economic disparities among forward communities specifically in areas like education and employment, citing Prime Minister Narendra Modi's implementation of the 10% Economically Weaker Section (EWS) reservation as a pivotal reform. He advocates for a government shift to better serve these communities.

The DSJP supports the inclusion of the Twenty20 party in the NDA, viewing it as a step towards mitigating Kerala's perceived 'anti-industry stance.' Moreover, Menon condemned alleged governmental corruption concerning temple-related scams and urged the electorate to seize the opportunity for change.
