Former Punjab Minister and AAP MLA Laljit Singh Bhullar was apprehended on Monday on charges of abetting the suicide of a Punjab State Warehousing Corporation official. The arrest took place in Mandi Gobindgarh, Fatehgarh Sahib district, as confirmed by police in Amritsar.

The deceased, Gagandeep Singh Randhawa, allegedly consumed poison, with a video appearing in which he accused Bhullar of harassment. Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann demanded Bhullar's resignation, emphasizing the administration's stand on legal accountability regardless of one's position.
