In the turbulent political landscape of Tamil Nadu, AIADMK MP I S Inbadurai has raised allegations against the electoral process in Chepauk-Triplicane. His petition claims irregularities, as 22 booths previously categorized as 'vulnerable' have been inexplicably removed for the upcoming polls. He particularly cited potential voter intimidation by local DMK members and called for enhanced security measures.
Beyond election concerns, Inbadurai spotlighted a 'mysterious death' at the C2 Subramaniapuram Police Station in Madurai. He alleged police inaction, driven by political pressure, led to a man reportedly setting himself on fire after his complaint was ignored. Inbadurai questioned the police station's security, especially the absence of CCTV footage, and called for judicial scrutiny.
Addressing broader political narratives, the AIADMK dismissed the notion of a three-way contest involving actor Vijay's party, asserting the main battle is between DMK and AIADMK. Furthermore, Inbadurai rebutted remarks about AIADMK's alleged alignment with the BJP, reaffirming the party's leadership role in the NDA alliance under Edappadi K Palaniswami's candidacy.
