Sikkim is eagerly preparing for Prime Minister Narendra Modi's upcoming two-day visit, the state's Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang announced recently. Modi's visit, scheduled to begin on April 27, will commence with his arrival at the Libing Helipad near Gangtok around 3 pm.
Chief Minister Tamang disclosed that the Prime Minister's itinerary includes a significant road show from the Libing Helipad to Lok Bhawan, inviting the local populace to line the route in warm welcome.
The visit also marks an important milestone, celebrating the 50th year of Sikkim's statehood on April 28 at Paljor Stadium. The state has been making extensive preparations to host the Prime Minister and ensure a memorable occasion for Sikkim.
