The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has raised concerns over the newly allotted bungalow to Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convener Arvind Kejriwal, labeling it as 'Sheesh Mahal 2.' The BJP alleges that private money was used for luxurious enhancements in the Lodhi Estate residence.
Delhi Public Works Department Minister Parvesh Sahib Singh Verma criticized Kejriwal for his lavish lifestyle, suggesting that after relocating from his previous residence, he indulged in creating another extravagant dwelling. The Central Public Works Department reportedly did not sanction the extensive spending on amenities.
AAP representative Atishi dismissed the allegations, insisting that photos circulated by Verma were not of Kejriwal's new home. She urged other political figures to disclose their residences for public comparison. Controversy continues as accusations of corruption swirl around recent AAP actions.
