Union Home Minister Amit Shah has confidently declared a strong start for the BJP in the initial phase of West Bengal assembly elections, predicting a win of 110 seats. Addressing rallies in Purba Bardhaman and Howrah, Shah outlined BJP's core promises, including CAA implementation, enhancing women's safety, and curbing infiltration from Bangladesh.
Highlighting the significance of these issues to the BJP's campaign, Shah criticized Mamata Banerjee's governance, accusing her of vote-bank politics and negligence toward refugee families and youth employment. He targeted TMC-sponsored ''syndicate raj'' and election-time intimidation, promising hefty governance changes if BJP takes power.
Shah's rhetoric was packed with promises for social welfare improvements, including monthly financial aid for government employees, women, and unemployed youth. He also vowed stricter law enforcement to ensure public safety. His speeches aim to bolster Hindu votes, promising a new era post the anticipated BJP victory.
