Political Showdown in West Bengal: TMC vs BJP

TMC chief Mamata Banerjee accused the BJP of deploying vast resources, including top ministers and helicopters, in an effort to win the West Bengal assembly elections. Mamata Banerjee, the chief of the Trinamool Congress, has made a bold accusation against the Bharatiya Janata Party, alleging that they have marshaled considerable resources, including senior ministers, to sway the West Bengal assembly elections. Speaking at a rally in Uttarpara, Banerjee described the BJP's strategy as heavy-handed and misplaced.

Banerjee alleged that the BJP has orchestrated a grand campaign, deploying 50 helicopters and significant manpower from within central government ranks, with promises that she termed as misleading to migrant workers from West Bengal. She drew stark contrasts with her party's modest campaign efforts, which involved just three helicopters.

She also addressed comments by Union Home Minister Amit Shah, suggesting that provocative language was being used against her party. Furthermore, Banerjee criticized a scripted event involving the Prime Minister, positing it as a stage-managed affair. Her remarks further fueled the tense political atmosphere as election day approaches.
