Gujarat Polls: Kejriwal and Patel Urge Voter Participation Amidst Municipal Elections

In the heat of Gujarat's municipal elections, Aam Aadmi Party national convenor Arvind Kejriwal implored voters to engage robustly in the democratic process. Emphasizing that development hinges on their participation, he took to X, urging locals to cast their votes decisively.

On polling day, activity extended across 15 municipal corporations, including key cities such as Ahmedabad, Surat, Vadodara, and Rajkot. Union Home Minister Amit Shah was among those voting in Gandhinagar, highlighting the election's significance.

Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel called voting a 'sacred festival of democracy,' urging citizens to overcome challenges like heat and holidays to ensure their voices are heard. Patel's rallying cry aimed to boost turnout and underscore voting as a civic right and duty.
