Congress leader Shashi Tharoor expressed strong confidence on Thursday in the United Democratic Front's (UDF) prospects in Kerala's elections, suggesting the alliance will secure more than 75 out of 140 state seats.
Tharoor, familiar with Kerala's political landscape, said the exit polls, predicting a UDF win, came as no surprise. He emphasized the influence of regional, gender, and class dynamics on polling accuracy.
Highlighting issues in West Bengal where 60% of respondents reportedly didn’t participate in exit polls, Tharoor questioned their reliability. Election results for Kerala and other states are due on May 4.
