Amid rising political tensions in West Bengal, Union Minister Sukanta Majumdar expressed discontent over the limited number of booths selected for repolling, accusing the ruling Trinamool Congress (TMC) of EVM tampering. Majumdar alleged that despite evident irregularities, justice remains elusive in regions like Falta.

Accusations have surfaced from both the ruling and opposing parties. While Majumdar believes TMC fears losing power and is acting as an opposition, TMC leader Shashi Panja has highlighted concerns regarding election processes, specifically mentioning disruptions in CCTV footage integrity at strong rooms.

The political controversy intensifies with TMC's Abhishek Banerjee accusing central forces of misconduct. As repolling in 15 booths progresses, stakeholders await the final results on May 4, eager to discern the electoral outcomes and future governance direction.
