The Bharatiya Janata Party's (BJP) impressive performance in West Bengal is largely attributed to the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah, alongside the persistent efforts of the party's workers and supporters, according to Goa unit chief, Damodar Naik.

With leads in 194 out of 294 assembly seats, the BJP is well-positioned to unseat the Trinamool Congress government led by Mamata Banerjee in West Bengal. The counting of votes is currently underway, indicating a significant shift in the state's political landscape.
