Veteran Congress leader and former MLA Babulal Bairwa has passed away at the age of 73. He died early Sunday morning at Sawai Man Singh Hospital in Jaipur following medical complications related to blood pressure and diabetes. He had been hospitalized for several days.
Bairwa held the MLA position for the Kathumar constituency in Alwar district four times, last winning the seat in 2018 on a Congress ticket. His death marks a notable loss for both politics and social spheres in the region, as expressed by former chief minister Ashok Gehlot and Leader of Opposition Tikaram Jully.
