The Congress-led United Democratic Front (UDF) has achieved a significant victory in the 140-member Keralam assembly by crossing the majority mark. The Indian National Congress (INC) has secured 56 seats, with seven more leads. Their coalition partner, the Indian Union Muslim League (IUML), has bagged 18 seats with two leads, while the Revolutionary Socialist Party (RSP) and Kerala Congress (Jacob) have each clinched three and one seats respectively.

In a heartfelt message on social media platform X, Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra expressed her gratitude to Keralam's voters for their support, promising to fulfill their commitments with integrity and sincerity. She highlighted the unwavering trust shown by the people of Wayanad, who delivered all seven seats in the district to the UDF, emphasizing their mandate as a testament to the alliance's renewed faith in the region.

Gandhi lauded party workers for their relentless efforts in securing the UDF's victory, appreciating their dedication to spreading the message of a united and progressive Keralam across the state. The congress leader expressed confidence that the next five years would solidify their determination to serve the people of Keralam effectively, as the UDF positions itself to lead after ousting the incumbent Left Democratic Alliance after a decade.
