Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav has voiced strong criticism over the outcomes of recent Assembly elections in various states, with a special focus on West Bengal. He described the developments as a 'black day' in the country's political history.
Yadav expressed his views through posts on social media platform X, alluding to the manipulation in the electoral arrangements without directly naming parties involved, such as the BJP or the NDA. He reacted sharply to a video by Mamata Banerjee alleging improper conduct toward her after the results.
Continuing his censure, Yadav accused central forces of being misused during the vote counting in West Bengal and drew parallels with previous instances witnessed in Uttar Pradesh's 2022 Assembly elections and the 2024 Lok Sabha polls in Farrukhabad. He condemned these actions as a blatant disregard for democratic mandate.
