On Tuesday, DMK president M K Stalin, indirectly addressing the TVK, highlighted that the recently victorious party secured 17.43 lakh more votes than DMK in the assembly polls. This election saw DMK and its allies win 74 seats, with DMK itself clinching 59 constituencies.
Stalin pointed out the minimal percentage difference in votes, standing at just 3.52%. He also celebrated the 1.54 crore votes earned, appreciating them as tokens of trust and asserting DMK's experience in both victories and defeats.
