Rajasthan Congress leader Govind Singh Dotasra has leveled serious accusations against the BJP, alleging abuse of central agencies and the erosion of democratic processes in the aftermath of recent assembly elections. His statements were made during a press conference held at the party's headquarters.
Dotasra asserted that the BJP employs central power and agencies like the ED, Income Tax, and CBI to intimidate opposition leaders and manipulate party dynamics through financial and physical means. He credited the Congress-led alliance's comeback in Kerala to the relentless efforts of the party's leaders and workers, despite these hurdles.
The Rajasthan chief also criticized the Election Commission, claiming it operates under BJP influence, citing the mass disenfranchisement during West Bengal elections as an example. He highlighted local misgovernance issues ignored due to the focus on electoral successes elsewhere and reaffirmed Congress workers' commitment to safeguarding voting rights.
