Union Minister Chirag Paswan condemned the recent killing of BJP leader Suvendu Adhikari's aide, following the party's victory in West Bengal. Paswan criticized the perceived culture of violence, which voters had rejected at the polls and attributed the incident to 'TMC goons'.
Addressing the media, Paswan labeled the situation as 'agonizing and shameful' and stressed that the intimidation tactics would not deter the BJP. He cited concerns from the Central government and Union Home Minister Amit Shah, emphasizing that such violence will no longer be tolerated.
Amidst calls for West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee to resign, Paswan assured that a new BJP-led government would soon take charge in West Bengal, signaling the beginning of developmental strides for the state.
