The Bharatiya Janata Party's Jaipur city unit on Thursday organised a programme to celebrate the party's victory in two states and a Union Territory where assembly elections were conducted recently. The event was held at EP Hall in Jaipur, where BJP workers attended a special screening of the film 'Dhurandhar' and later participated in a rally marked by slogans and fireworks. City unit president Amit Goyal said the programme was organised to boost the morale of party workers and strengthen a sense of camaraderie within the organisation. The event also coincided with the anniversary of Operation Sindoor, Goyal said. He said the BJP's success in the elections was the result of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership, organisational strategy and the hard work of party workers. Senior BJP leaders, including former Union minister Kailash Choudhary and former Rajasthan BJP president Ashok Parnami, were felicitated for their contribution to the party's campaigns. A rally was taken out later, where party workers carried BJP flags and raised slogans such as ''Bharat Mata Ki Jai'' and ''Vande Mataram''. Fireworks were burst. Several BJP leaders, office-bearers and workers attended the programme. As results of the five recent assembly elections were announced on May 4, the BJP secured a decisive majority in Assam, Pondicherry and West Bengal.
