UK PM Starmer says he will not resign after local election losses

British Prime Minister Keir Starmer said he would not resign after his Labour Party suffered heavy early losses in local elections on Friday, and added that he expected he would still be the party's leader at the next general election.
"I'm not going to walk away," Starmer told British media.
