Mother biggest lesson in life, greatest book I have read: Satheesan on Mother's Day

In a Facebook post, Satheesan said, The biggest lesson in life I have seen and the greatest book I have read is my mother. He also conveyed love, care and respect to all mothers on the occasion of Mothers Day. His party colleague and Karunagappally MLA C R Mahesh too shared an emotional note on social media, recalling the role of his mother in shaping his public life.

Senior Congress leader V D Satheesan on Sunday extended Mother's Day greetings, describing his mother as ''the biggest lesson in life'' and ''the greatest book'' he has ever read. In a Facebook post, Satheesan said, ''The biggest lesson in life I have seen and the greatest book I have read is my mother.'' He also conveyed love, care and respect to all mothers on the occasion of Mother's Day. His party colleague and Karunagappally MLA C R Mahesh too shared an emotional note on social media, recalling the role of his mother in shaping his public life. Mahesh said the limited freedom given by his mother without his father's knowledge helped mould the public worker in him. He said his mother forgave his weaknesses, mistakes and faults during youth, waited till night to open the door for him, kept food aside for him and raised him with love and discipline. The MLA also said mothers would always forgive mistakes and stand by their children till the very end, adding that it was his mother who taught him the value of a simple life.
