Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Guwahati on Monday night for the swearing-in ceremony of Assam's third BJP-led NDA government. Upon arrival at Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport, he was warmly greeted by CM-designate Himanta Biswa Sarma and other BJP leaders.
The ceremony will mark the beginning of a new term under Sarma's leadership, a continuation of the party's governance from the previous term.
