The Kremlin echoed Russian President Vladimir Putin's claim that the war in Ukraine was nearing its end, as conveyed on Tuesday. U.S. President Donald Trump also noted the war's conclusion was 'very close,' perspectives not mirrored by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy, who emphasized Moscow's ongoing aggressive stance.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov stated on Tuesday that progress with Ukraine and the United States had been made towards winding down the war. 'This accumulated groundwork enables us to suggest the completion is indeed approaching,' Peskov said, adding that specific details remain elusive.
