At a BRICS meeting in New Delhi, attended by foreign ministers from Iran, Russia, Brazil, and other member states, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar underscored the importance of the bloc's role in addressing challenges such as ongoing conflicts and economic uncertainties.
As the bloc's chair, India emphasized its expectation for BRICS to play a stabilizing role, addressing issues including energy, food, and health security amidst the current geopolitical upheavals.
