On Thursday, National Conference president Farooq Abdullah endorsed RSS general secretary Dattatreya Hosabale's advocacy for dialogue with Pakistan, asserting that war is not a viable solution. Abdullah highlighted the significance of this call with support from former Army chief M M Naravane.
Abdullah, a former Jammu and Kashmir chief minister, emphasized that the current moment presents a crucial opportunity for initiating dialogue with the neighboring country. He urged the Indian government to consider the advice, stressing dialogue as the essential path to resolving conflicts.
In response to austerity measures by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and others, Abdullah commended the steps to reduce cavalcade sizes amid the fuel crisis. His remarks reflect a broader push for pragmatic diplomacy and sustainable governance.
