This dialogue took place as part of Modi's wider five-nation tour, which also includes visits to Europe.
During the meeting, Prime Minister Modi condemned attacks on the UAE, a key strategic ally that houses a prominent US military base. The UAE has been targeted amid the broader US-Israeli conflict with Iran, a situation Modi described as unacceptable. However, he praised the UAE's restrained response.
Highlighting the global implications of the West Asian conflict, Modi reiterated India's readiness to contribute to peace efforts. Upon arrival, Modi received a warm welcome from the UAE President and expressed hope for strengthened bilateral ties in areas including energy, investment, and supply chains.
