New Delhi, India, May 15, 2026: In a landmark agreement, India and Korea have committed to advancing climate-friendly solutions through the International Solar Alliance (ISA) and the Global Green Growth Institute (GGGI).
The announcement, made during a Korean State Visit, signifies a major boost in renewable energy deployment across Asia, with both nations joining organizations founded by the other to foster solar growth.
GGGI’s Deputy-Executive Director Dr. Malle Fofana and ISA Director General Mr. Ashish Khanna emphasized the partnership's potential in closing financing and implementation gaps, aiming for scalable solar energy solutions and significant greenhouse gas emission reductions.
