Reddy Confident in Congress 2028 Victory and Rahul Gandhi's Future as PM
Telangana CM A Revanth Reddy is confident of Congress's victory in the 2028 Assembly elections and declares Rahul Gandhi as the prime ministerial candidate for the INDIA bloc. Reddy plans to hand over governance by 2034, while also addressing the legality in the POCSO case against Bandi Sanjay Kumar's son.

Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy expressed confidence on Friday that the Congress party would secure victory in the 2028 Assembly elections, assuring continuity in his position for a second term.
In addition, Reddy announced that Congress leader Rahul Gandhi would be put forth as the prime ministerial candidate of the INDIA bloc in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. The Congress intends to first declare Gandhi's candidacy and subsequently persuade coalition partners within the INDIA alliance.
On other fronts, Reddy spoke about Telangana's alignment with the law in the POCSO case involving Union Minister Bandi Sanjay Kumar's son and affirmed the necessity for the minister to address the accusations.
