Ernakulam's political landscape is poised for transformation according to local DCC president Mohammed Shiyas. He accused the former LDF government of neglecting the district, promising change under the incoming UDF administration.
Shiyas highlighted the significance of having a Chief Minister-designate and capable representatives from Ernakulam within the state cabinet. He suggested that these appointments could foster substantial growth, addressing issues such as human-wildlife conflicts and poor infrastructure.
The extension of Kochi Metro and other development initiatives are set to accelerate under the UDF's leadership, Shiyas assured. With the UDF winning all 14 Assembly seats in Ernakulam, the district aims for renewed focus and progress.
