Cabinet Changes Afoot: Minister Hints at Phased Expansion
Tamil Nadu's Finance Minister, K A Sengottaiyan, suggests that Chief Minister C Joseph Vijay may implement a phased Cabinet expansion, which is traditionally the CM's prerogative. Sengottaiyan cited late CM J Jayalalithaa's phased approach and criticized AIADMK leadership while addressing potential inclusion of rebels in the Cabinet.

In a significant development, Tamil Nadu Finance Minister K A Sengottaiyan hinted at the possibility of an upcoming Cabinet expansion, underscoring that such decisions rest solely with Chief Minister C Joseph Vijay.
Speaking at Coimbatore airport, Sengottaiyan drew parallels with former Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa's strategy of initially constituting a smaller Cabinet, subsequently expanding its size as required.
The minister also criticized AIADMK's leadership, particularly targeting Edappadi K Palaniswami, whilst questioning journalists on their awareness of the state's financial health.
